I can't believe that I'm only 10 days from having surgery. It seems like forever that I've been waiting for 1-even being able to get it done, and 2- just waiting the almost 5 months of having it scheduled. I've been this way for a long time and although it's always been devistating, it has NEVER affected me the way it has in recent years. Maybe its that it got a billion times worse from pregnancy, or maybe its just the lack of self-esteem its given me, but either way, I couldn't be more excited to just have it done and over with. Well, until we see what baby number two, and maybe three and four (hee hee) do to my body! For now, I can't think about that and just have to be happy with how I will feel and know that if this does happen again, atleast this time, I'm starting from a good (even) place. I can't express how nice it will feel to wear a bra without the huge insert (that is usually used for masectomy patients). It will be so nice to not be constantly adjusting and worrying about things looking normal. It will feel so good to shop and have a broader selection of what I can actually wear. It will be a relief to not have to wash and powder that damn thing all the time! haha. Most of all, I know I will feel better and happier and right now, thats what matters!
For months, this day couldn't come fast enough... now that its creeping up on me, I feel the stress and huge load of to-do's on my shoulders. Not only do I have a 19 month old, who's in the middle of potty training, but I have a crap load of homework and studying in preparation for my early exam. I'm not doing so well in math and NEED to do extremely good on the exam! I want to go to the hospital that day (530 am. Yikes!) feeling at ease about everything. To do that, I need to have a good grade in math, a happy baby, a clean house, and a plan! The goal this week is to do all the homework. This weekend I will take time out for myself, since its my 21st birthday, to have a good time with family and friends. Starting Monday, I will be studying my heart out for that exam on Thursday, come home and touch up the house, and spend the evening relaxing (or trying to, but I'm sure I'll be a nervous wreck). On top of that, we might be getting a different SUV and even if we don't, I'll have to spare some time for the DMV to renew my license, go get a few groceries, and plan a few easy meals for the husband to make...
Let me say, I know I should just be feeling very blessed to be having my issue fixed and that I KNOW there are alot of people who have alot more/worse stresses in there life. This is just my place to unload, vent, and write things out!
All because two people fell in love...

Our Weekend :(
Sometime last week I started feeling sick... nothing too bad, just under the weather. I knew I was run down and was more than likely going to get sick because of it so I started popping vitamin C like crazy! Between that, alka seltzer, and zicam nose spray, I was able to manage. I had a crap load of homework that was due Wednesday night and exam on Thursday so I did what I could throughout the week, but ended up staying up pretty late Wednesday night cramming for the exam. (Its not easy getting everything done when I'm relying on naptime and whenever I can leave Grant a little longer at his grandmas.) Anyway, I was pretty nervous for the exam, as I usually ALWAYS am before tests. I got up and headed to class with a huge knot in my stomach. My professor passes out the test and I swear it looked like Spanish to me. I only was completely sure of a few of the problems. My mind was just blank and I started feeling really panicky. I tried to just relax and slowly read things over. Well, that didn't work and I could feel my chin starting to tremble and I was about to break down! I finally decided to write the professor a little note and see if I could try the test again another day. I turned it in and broke down as soon as I got in the car. I emailed him when I got home and explained everything and told him I'd do everything I can to get my grade up. I had so much to do over the weekend that I kept myself busy enough to just get my mind off of it for a few days... planning to figure out everything after class on Monday...
I deep cleaned, and I mean REALLY DEEP cleaned on Friday and it felt soooo good to finally have that done for awhile. (We all know how long it really lasts with a toddler boy running around!)
Saturday we had a birthday party to go to so we took it easy all morning and went to that. We had a ton of fun, but while we were there I noticed Grant was starting to cough alot. GREAT... I just knew he was going to get sick with all the crap floating around right now. Well, sure enough, a few hours after being home, he was coughing like crazy and really hard. :( By night time, he was throwing up. He ended up coughing and throwing up all night and the next day (yesterday).
I wanted to miss class and just be home to take care of my baby, but I knew I needed to go figure out the issue with my test and today would just be a really bad day to miss after all of that. My MIL came to watch Grant and he was able to sleep in. He woke up seeming alot better and so far, hasn't thrown up. Still coughing though. Gosh! I just HATE when my baby is sick... its the most helpless feeling ever. I really hope he's over it!
Well, I get to class and its a huge sigh of relief... the average grade on the test (theres about 40 of us) was 55%! Therefore, the professor realized it didn't stick with any of us and we need to make some changes. It felt way better knowing, I'm not an idiot and everyone else did poorly too. He gave us 10 extra points on the test and is offering an extra credit quiz on Thursday worth 50 points! We also talked about the different things that would help us do better... I will spare you all the details!
Anyway, I'm feeling much better about all of it. Still stressed that I have to cram two weeks of stuff into 4 days, but I'm just taking one day at a time and hoping all this crud going around will clear up soon and we'll all be feeling better!

Playing Catch-Up
I'm not good at this blogging thing AT ALL. I love reading them, hate posting them and I really am not computer savvy enough to keep up with everything and make my blog cute... I do however LOVE to read them and find it almost therapuetic (sp?) to read things that I totally relate too and find that so many women say how good it feels to write out how they are feeling...
With that being said, I want to become a better blogger and keep a nice little journal of our lives! and since, I'm known for being a "blog stalker" (which my husband often teases me about), I'm going to keep this public for those of you who are like me. :) We'll see how that goes though and if I even end up sticking with it!
To quickly catch up...
Joey passed his HVAC journeyman test a few months back! He's still at the same job, doing the same thing. (Which he loves and is a complete natural at!)
Grant is now 19 months and I cannot express enough how fast the time has gone! Everyday, he does more and more and he is becoming such a sweet, smart little boy and of course, we think he is the most adorable thing ever! He's still VERY BUSY and is still into everything and anything. However, I have notice that this last month, he has relaxed a bit and will sit still for longer periods of time. He currently loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and will almost watch a whole episode or atleast half! (I know tv is not the best thing to want your toddler to do, but for my sanity, its very nice to have him sit and relax for a few minutes.) He is starting to talk alot more and will randomly mock the things we say too. We have had to be very careful with our words! For example, the other day while we were in the car, somebody cut us off and Joey said, "IDIOT" and Grant repeated it exactly like daddy! Although kind of humurous, its not a word I want him using! LOL And finally, the biggest milestone he's recently hit is potty training. I can't believe those words are even coming out of my mouth! I so didn't expect this until another year or so down the road. Grant made it very clear to us that he was ready... his diaper would be dry for hours and when he'd finally held it to long, he'd grab himself and whine as he went in his diaper and immediatlely wanted changed. Also, he'd wake up dry after nap time, so I realized that he had control of his bladder. We decided to just buy him a potty chair and let him play around with the idea. Well... the second night we had it, he wanted to go and went. I still feel like he's to young, but I've finally come to the conclusion that this is on his time and not mine. We are now putting him in "big boy undies" during the day and pullups at nap and bedtime. We fill him with positive encouragement and every time he goes, we let him flush it down the real potty, wash his hands, then he picks out a sticker. We take him every 20 minutes whether he goes or not. When he doesn't, we just say, nice try and we'll do it again in a little while. He is catching on quickly and went to days straight without and accident then only had one yesterday and it was a poo one and we were playing at the neighbors when it happened. So far, so good I think!
As for me,... I have started my new semester in school. Well, I'm almost half way through it already, thank goodness! Its Math 108 and its very hard for me! Math is by far my biggest weakness! I have class Mon through Thursday mornings and Grant goes to his grandma's. On one-two of the days, I leave him a little longer so I can do homework. So far, it has been hectic, but manageable and I've been doing okay keeping up. All of a sudden last night, it hit me hard and I"M SUPER STRESSED with everything going on. For those of you who don't already know, I will be having surgery on March 18th. My breast are very assymetric and have been since I first developed, but got wayyy worse after having Grant. (I know its personal, but I don't mind... one is a DDD and the other is a B!) I fought with insurance for six months, and they finally settled to pay half of the cost of surgery. Thank goodness because its expensive! I thought about waiting until after I'm done having kids, but I'm already have enough issues as it is and don't know what I would do if it gets worse with every baby. Also, its a rare case that insurance approves to help out at all and when they agree to, you have to schedule the surgery or it goes away after 90 days. I've had it scheduled now for four months and was completely excited to finally have it fixed, but now that its so close I'm nervous, scared, excited, stressed and a billion other emotions. I will be under for over 6 hours and will be cut from breast bone to armit on each side, then up to nipple, nipples taken off completely so she can resize everything perfectly. I will be a nice EVEN, perky ;), B when its all said and done. I will also be wearing a drain on the larger side for awhile and won't be able to lift for 4 weeks. I CAN'T LIFT MY BABY FOR A MONTH!!!! I'm so sad about that. Anyway, lucky for me, I have a great family and plenty of help through all of that. In the meantime, I have sooooo much to do to get ready. The quick run-down a crap load of homework and studying for my 2nd exam on Thursday, deep clean and I mean really deep clean the house this weekend, pre-op is next week and that includes alot of stuff, then one more "normal" week until its my 21st birthday (still need to figure out what I'm doing for it) then I have 4 days to get two weeks of math done because surgery is that Friday. The two weeks of math includes taking my 3rd exam a week early and no instruction on half of the homework! I will be missing a whole week of class then the following week after that is Spring Break. I will have two weeks off and then its back to the grind and hopefully I'll be healed enough. Wish us all luck with all of that, we will need it! :)
There's the quick or actually not-so-quick catch up and my rant for the day! Sorry for such a long post!

Grant's Birth Story
I know I'm not the greatest blogger.. in fact, I hardly blog at all. I mostly enjoy "blog stalker" instead. However, today my sweet baby boy is one and I felt like writing his truly amazing birth story would be a good way to honor that very special day. Although, I don't think I will ever forget it, I want to have it down on paper. So here it goes..
Just a warning... I won't be leaving out ANYTHING! I promise no "crotch shots", but the other pictures and details might bother some. :)
As most of you know, Joey and I weren't planning on having a baby yet. At the time, we had been talking about gettting married and making those plans. I didn't know at the time, but Joey had already been looking at rings. I had been on birth control for awhile when I started having some issues. The doctor had me switch to a progestin only pill, thinking that estrogen was the reason for my problems. She gave me three months worth of pills then wanted to see me again. Well the pills were gone and I had completely forgotten that there was only three months worth. It was a Sunday and I made an appt the very next day, but couldn't get it until Wednesday. Well, when I went in, she asked me the typical question. (Had we used our other options.) I was honest and thank goodness I was. She did a blood test and called to tell me my HCG level was 10 and that I might be pregnant. I thought... um no thats impossible because I was only off the pill 3 days! Well after 3 at home tests, sure enough, we were expecting. I was only 2 1/2 weeks! Although we were scared, we were very excited! We always knew we wanted to have children. We told ourselves this was a blessing and truly a gift from God.
After talking with our best friends, who had already had one baby born at the Baby Place Birth Center and were expecting their second (just a month ahead of us), we decided we'd look into it. Our plan was to meet the midwives and see the birth center then meet with a doctor too. Well, we went to our first appt at The Baby Place and both of us felt so comfortable and at peace there. As we walked out the door, we looked at eachother and knew we both wanted to have our baby there. We were so happy with our decision and knew we were making the right one. We didn't even bother looking into having a hospital birth.
At our second appt, we were finally able to measure the little guy and found out I was six weeks pregnant and due around July 25th. We were so excited!
On Valentine’s Day, I was exactly 17 weeks and decided to surprise Joey by going to Fetal Fotos and find out the sex of our baby. Of course, neither of us cared, we just wanted a healthy one. J Both of our mom’s and Joey’s sister, met us there. I already knew it was a boy and even said it as we walked into the room. Once we found out for sure, I think Joey grew a foot taller! He was so excited. We both were!
Our friends and midwives recommended a class called Confident Childbirth Class and we decided to sign up for it. Thank God we did! We had so much fun going to it every week and it was really fun to meet other couples that were due all around the same time. Many of them were also going to The Baby Place. We both learned so much about labor and delivery. Everything we learned really confirmed the reasons why we didn’t want to have a hospital birth. We were so glad we didn’t have to worry about the interventions that occur at a hospital and I was especially happy that I wouldn’t be treated as a “patient” with a medical problem. We knew this was a natural process and my body knew exactly what it was doing.
Joey and I could never agree on names. It seemed like everything I suggested he didn’t like. I think he was just waiting for me to say Joseph Junior. I wanted something different though. Something we came up with on our own. I really like the name Dallen and Joey liked it enough too. For a couple months, that was going to be his name. In the back of my head, I knew Joey wasn’t crazy about it and it actually started to wear on me too. We started talking about other names, but still couldn’t come up with anything. Finally I looking at a Supercross riders list thing (surprise, surprise) and started rattling off different rider’s names. We both liked the names Health and Grant. We couldn’t decide which one was better so we said we’d wait until he was born. We couldn’t decide on middle names either. We liked David because its my dad and oldest brother’s name and his dad’s middle name, but we also thought about having it be after his daddy.
Time went on and I got bigger and BIGGER! Our friends were blessed with another wonderful birth and I was lucky enough to get to be there. Sweet little Ellary Jane was born on June 26th. Seeing and holding her made me even more anxious to have my little guy.
My due date was right around the corner and we were playing the waiting game. Although I knew he’d come when he was ready, I just wanted him so badly! I had to keep telling myself that he wouldn’t be born until August and that kept me going. At 37 weeks, I got checked and was not even ½ a centimeter dilated, but was 25% efaced. The next week I was 1 centimeter , 50% efaced, and his head was pretty low. At my 39 week appointment (my last one), I was still only at a 1, but was 75% efaced, and his head was stationed at a 1. She also said she could feel my bulging bag of water. We were so excited, but kept reminding ourselves that I could be this way for awhile. Part of me felt like we were close though. I just didn’t imagine myself going past my due date and for about a week had been up late with contractions that would get to five minutes apart then stop. They weren’t super painful though and everyone told me I would know when it was the real thing.
Wednesday night, the 22nd, we went to bed as usual. At midnight I was woken up with pretty bad cramps. I tried to use the bathroom and lay back down. I was able to fall back asleep until 2, but then was woke up again by a lot of pressure on my pubic bone. I started having contractions and they were WAY more painful than the nights before. I decided I’d wait as long as I could and make sure it was the real thing before waking Joey up. He’d been woken up pretty much every night that week and I knew if it wasn’t the real thing he’d be having to get up early for work. I waited it out until after 3 then I finally went in and woke him up. When he got up he told me to call our doula. (The teacher of our birth class is also a doula and we decided to have her there to help support Joey and I both.) When I called her, I told her what was going on and she sat on the phone with me through a few contractions. She said they seemed to be a little inconsistent and still spaced out so to try to relax and eat a little something and then call her when something changes. She then said she wanted to talk to Joey and started asking him questions. I remember him saying, “Yep. Uh huh. Oh ya, she’s doing that too.” and it was driving me crazy that I didn’t know what she was asking him. They seemed to be on the phone for what seemed like forever. I had two contractions during that time and told Joey to tell her that. They both were surprised and looked at the time. They’d only been talking for five minutes! She decided she wasn’t going to have me wait any longer and got to our house pretty shortly. Following her was a training doula, that I had okayed to be at the birth and help Kyndal. She was so sweet and helpful. They got out my birth ball and put it at the end of the bed. I sat on it while holding onto the bed frame and rocked back and forth and tried to keep moving through the contractions. The contractions were getting stronger and longer, but in between each one, I’d pop right up and start talking. I heard Kyndal explain that the time of the contractions was great, but she was waiting to see behavior changes. I remember thinking… Ya right, I’m going to be talkative and happy through this whole thing. Well she was right, and I no longer felt like talking and the pressure was pretty bad too. They loaded up the car and we were on our way. Side note: when I packed my bags I made sure to pack a couple towels for the car ride, just in case. I don’t know why that was so important to me because I didn’t even expect my water to break until closer to delivery anyway. Well funny thing, we walked out to the car and right as I get in, I start feeling a trickle and told Joey that I either peed my pant or my water was breaking. It continued to leak while we drove to The Baby Place which was literally just a few minutes away. When we got there, Jerusha (midwife) met us at the door and walked us back to our huge, beautiful room. They checked me and I was a dilated to a 4 and was 100% efaced and she confirmed that my water was leaking. The bed looked so comfortable so I decided I try to lay down. That didn’t last long because it was so much more painful for me to stop moving. They set me up with a birth ball and bar to hold onto and I decided to rock back and forth again. I think I spent most my time doing that. I broke away from it for a bit to take a nice long bath and it felt so relaxing. I could still feel every contraction, but the pain was lessened a little. When I got out I did some more rocking on the ball. The contractions were one after another and I remember moaning like crazy (which I said I’d never do). It helped me manage the pain when I’d voice it out. If that even makes sense.
I got check again and was at an 8. I was proud of my progress and just kept rocking. At one point, Joey stood me up and we danced around for a bit. I think the gravity really helped because after that I started feeling the urge to push. Earlier, I had mentioned that I thought about having a water birth so they got the bath ready for me. They checked me again and said it be okay to give a couple pushes. They offered the birth stool and said I could get in the tub after I got him past the cervical lip I had covering his head. Once I got to that point I just kept wanting to push and didn’t feel like moving into the bath. I was pretty comfortable in the stool so I just stayed there. I pushed and pushed and Joey stood behind me holding me up the whole time. I could hear him starting to tear up and once they said they could feel baby’s head, he started full on crying. Of course, everyone else started crying too. He apologized and said sorry for being a cry baby and that made us all laugh. My dad was right outside the door and I heard him say, “Lu, your doing great, keep on pushing”. It was pretty cute. We had quite and emotional time. Well, everyone except me, who was full of smiles and in my own little world. Danny (midwife), guided my hand down there so I could feel my progress while I pushed. That helped me so much. Her and Jerusha were rubbing olive oil on me to help me stretch, but it started to really burn. I gave another hard push and there was his head. I reached my hands down and gave another push. Out came my sweet baby and I caught him myself! I pulled him up to me and remember looking at him in total shock. I couldn’t believe how perfect and sweet he was and that he was OURS! He was a little white looking because he had some mucous in his chest. They clamped his cord earlier than expected so they could get him to the table. Joey carried him over and kept saying, “Son, its your daddy. Give us a good big breath.” It was so sweet. Grant started squawking and everything was good. I moved over to the bed to deliver my placenta which seemed to take awhile. I had stopped having contractions and we were waiting on those to push again. I finally got it out and they noticed I had torn sideways! I can’t remember if I started getting stitched first or tried breastfeeding first. I remember calling Joey a baby hog because our mom’s and everyone were waiting on their turn to hold him. It was pretty cute though. He was naturally so protective too. He went in with Jerusha to wash baby off and I heard him tell someone, “stop taking pictures, the flash is bothering him.” After that, he brought him to me and we talked about what name he should have. We both agreed that he was totally a Grant! We like Joseph for the middle name too. J A little while later, after getting him to nurse a little bit. We weighed and measured him… he was 7 pounds 4 ounces and 21 ¼ inches long. He had been born at 10:59 and I was proud that labor was only 9 hours total. Pretty good for natural labor and first baby! Our families visited for a little while, and then we had some quiet time to ourselves. I was supposed to rest, but didn’t even feel tired at all. I was so excited and just wanted to hold him and look at him instead. He was a natural when it came to nursing and we spent a lot of the day doing that. We decided to get ready to head home and at about 7 we changed his little outfit and loaded up. We were so happy to get to take him home for the first time and show him around. I remember feeling so proud of myself and my hard work. What an accomplishment! We were just filled with emotions! We couldn’t have been any happier! We love our little guy so much!
10 months!
Today my sweet little baby is ten months old! How did the time go by so fast? It seems like this month he is doing so many new things...
He's on the move and is into EVERYTHING! He doesn't crawl regularly, its more of an army crawl. He still gets around so fast though. Recently we baby-proofed a little. I thought I had awhile to look for a baby gate, but I guess not. He found the kitchen and he won't stay out of it!
He likes to get into the dog food (he even tried a piece and got mad when I took it away) and he likes to see his reflection in the stove and dishwasher.
He loves to chase Mylo and gets upset when Mylo jumps onto the top of the couch where he can't reach him. Isn't this face priceless?!
He loves getting into Mylo's toys!
His grandma got him this walker. Sometimes he sits back and has some snacks and other times he uses it to chase Mylo. Suprise, suprise! I'm anticipating the day that Mylo is no longer faster than him. :)
He helps w/ laundry! Okay, not really, he just likes the ride in the baskets afterward.
The camera comes out and he turns into such a little ham! I told Joey to get one of him smiling and he just kept doing weird faces. He's so funny and has such a big personality already.
He takes a "big boy" bath now w/o the plastic tub. He loves all this toys, but his favorite is the fisherman guy that sits on top of his sailboat. :)
He waves "hi" and "bye" to everyone! Its pretty cute. He say's "da da" and "momma" to the right person now. He's also say "dat" and pointing to everything. He says "ba ba" and definetly knows what that one means. He shakes his head "yes" or "no" to things and it seems like he knows which is which. "Are you hungry?" He shakes his head "yes". "Are you ready for bed? "He shakes his head "no". lol
Ten months has gone by really fast and its bittersweet to see all the changes. Its so fun watching him grow and learn knew things, but its sad how fast its all happened. I couldn't imagine my life w/o this little guy. We love him so much and he brings us all the happiness in the world!
Just one last picture....
I just had to post this one!
A couple weeks ago, he was on antibiotics for an ear infection. It gave him diarrhea and made him get a diaper rash. Well I was letting him "air out" while I put a few things away and all of a sudden I hear a tiny little fart. I look down and yep, he had pooped on the floor! hahaha

I'm starting to feel like this is just an online journal since I still don't know how to find people! Oh well- its really just for me to remember things anyway...
Friday, Joey and I went to Las Vegas with our best friends, Tim and Amanda. Grant stayed home and spent time with both sets of grandparents. (He's sooo lucky to have family on both sides that love him so much!) When we got there, we ate at the hotel. They had the best nachos ever! Davi Milsaps was there too. :) After that, we walked around town for a bit and talked Joey into riding the roller coaster at New York New York. He was freaking out and I wish I wouldn't have left my camera in the car! We spent a little time at the pool... I don't regret not having my camera then. haha. We had a dinner to go to that night. Yay for free food! lol
We spent the rest of the night walking around town and checking out our hotel and some other ones near by. We stayed at the Hard Rock and it was pretty fun. Amanda saw Pink and Carey Hart. She made eye contact with her before even realizing it was her. She didn't want to be seen as she had a hood on and was kind of hiding her face. Too bad for her that her husband completely stood out. Saturday we spent the day in the pits at the Supercross. We saw some different riders and we just had fun walking around.
Joey didn't believe that I had spotted Malcom Stewart (Bubba's brother) so he made me ask for a picture to prove him wrong. He totally looks different on tv! Joey was stoked about the picture with Jake Weimer... of course we were so proud of him since he's from Idaho and Joey raced against him growing up.
This was our view of the track! pretty nice :)
After the race, we went back to the hotel.
Bubba Stewart! I'm pretty embarrassed that I interrupted him while he was gambling to get this picture.
The guys with Pourcel! We also saw lots of other ones, but didn't ask for pictures. Joey is jealous that Tim got one with Kevin Windam.
Sunday we went to the Shark's Reef Aquarium in Mandalay Bay and it was pretty cool. Not quite as good as I remember, but still good.
That evening, we met my aunt and uncle and there adorable boys at a really yummy Mexican restaurant. They live in Vegas and we don't get to see them as often as we'd like. There three boys are sooo well behaved and such cuties! Once again, I forgot the camera. We went to Fremont Street to see "Old Las Vegas" and watched the light show. It wasn't as exciting as everyone made it out to be. Later we went to a banquet thing and saw a bunch more riders which made the guys super happy.
We left Monday and I was so excited to come home to my litte man. Sunday night, he had started running a fever, had diarrhea, and was throwing up. Poor guy was sick all day Monday too. We took him to the doctor when we got home and found out he has an ear infection. He's still miserable. I hope the antibiotics start helping soon! I'm exhausted!!!

Considering I'm new at this and still trying to figure it out, I haven't been blogging. I'm kind of upset w/ myself for not doing it anyway cuz I've wanted to do this before I had Grant so I could print these off. Well... he's nine months old now. I know, crazy! Where did the time go? He's trying to crawl, but mostly rolls and scoots everywhere. He's saying "mama" and "dada" at the right person now and has started to wave "hi" and "bye". We went to his nine month appt yesterday and he was somewhere in the seventyth percentile for height and weight. He weighed in at 22 lbs! I totally thought he'd be like 26 and the nurse reweighed him a couple times cuz she thought so too. I guess he's just solid! I love that little (or I guess big) boy sooo much!
I too saw the doc yesterday cuz I've been feeling shaky, anxious, and grumpy when I'm hungry. I've also been dying of thirst and peeing like crazy. The doctor sent me with a blood glucose monitor and told me to take it before and after I eat. Is it weird that I like pricking myself and doing it? I must be made to be a nurse. lol She did some other blood tests for diabetes and to check my thyroid. Hopefully nothing serious is wrong and its just low blood sugar.
Joey finished school a couple weeks and is now just a test away from having his journeymen's license. I'm so proud of him! I'm loving him not having class in the evenings and getting to always spend them with us. :)
I have finals next week which isn't too bad cuz I'm only taking one class. I'm so happy to have a month off school before I have to go back for summer classes. I'll be taking 10 credits in the summer but luckily two are online and only math is live. There's no way I'd ever take Math online... its hard enough with someone else explaining it to me over and over.
Next weekend we are going to Vegas and I can't wait! We are going for Supercross, considering we will be there 3 nights, we will do alot more than that! I'm so excited to have a get-away w/ my hubby and our best friends. It'll be a blast! I'm soooo sad that I'm gonna be gone for my first mother's day and Grant won't be with us. :( I didn't know that when we planned it. Oh well, its not like he knows anyway.
Now... the goal is to keep up with blogging! :)
